March 2024 M/M Romance Books You Will Want to Read

These are my most anticipated M/M romance books for March 2024. The list is short, but I am super excited about these books.

This month we have grumpy/sunshine vibes, a bi-awakening, some fencing, and a haunted asylum.

I love the variety. There should be something fun for everyone.

If you are looking for more great reads, you can find my list of every M/M romance book releasing in March 2024 here.

Best M/M Romance books Releasing March 2024

Pretty Boy by Brianna Flores

Release Date: March 1st

Pretty boy Liam Walker is unlucky in love…

Liam

My newest obsession is nothing like any of my past hookups.

The tattoos? Not exactly my type. A perma-scowl and general leave-me-alone attitude? Yeah, that’s the kind of thing I usually stay away from. And, sure, is it surprising that suddenly those things seem to be everything I want? Absolutely. But the most shocking part about all of this is that the person who’s got me all out of whack… isn’t a girl.

Bash is a six-foot-four-tatted personal trainer who seems to want nothing to do with me and my confused self. Until I’m naked, that is. And it’s great when I am, but as soon as I’m dressed, he’s more than ready to say goodbye.

But if there’s one thing getting a taste of Sebastian Crawford has taught me, it’s that one taste just isn’t enough.

Sebastian

I don’t know how to take Liam and his obvious crush on me, but it’s clear that he did not sign up for the kinds of workout sessions I’m used to giving. So, I take him home, giving us both what we so clearly want, and settle on my choice to say goodbye as soon as it’s done.

But that goodbye is a little harder than I anticipated, and finding out that our time together was his first time with a guy, period, has me regretting the way I so easily tossed him aside. Liam is more sensitive than I originally believed, and after being cheated on by his last girlfriend only to move on to me, I can’t help but feel that he deserves better… better than me.

But if there’s one thing getting a taste of pretty boy Liam Walker has taught me, it’s that I’m willing to change my emotionally stunted ways.

Cora Rose is that you? For some reason, this book is giving Whit and Sem vibes to me.

Brianna Flores is a new to me author, but I want to give this book a go. I love a good pretty boy book! A hulking and tattooed grump as the love interest certainly doesn’t hurt.

Ivy Grove was a ghost hunter gold mine.

At least, that’s what Skyler and his twin brother believe when traveling to the sleepy little town for their ghost hunting web series. Their goal? Investigate the notoriously haunted Lockton Asylum.

Paxton doesn’t like people. Well, living ones. His ghost best friend—and housemate—is the only one he lets down his guard with. Working as a guide at Ivy Grove Ghost Tours is the extent of his socializing, and he likes it that way. When he’s assigned to be the tour guide for the Knox Brothers, twins with a popular ghost hunting show, his quiet life gets a bit… well, complicated.
The reason? Skyler freaking Knox and his dumb, ridiculously pretty face. And his rock-hard abs.

Lockton Asylum, with its dark history and tragic past, brings Skyler and Paxton together in unexpected ways. The simple investigation becomes much more involved—and dangerous—when they begin to unravel the mysteries surrounding the asylum… and when they encounter the dark entities that dwell within the walls.

Romance, vengeful ghosts, and… donuts with sprinkles? Who said love couldn’t have all three? For this ghost hunter and tour guide, this is one investigation neither will ever forget.

The Haunting of Lockton is the latest book by Jaclyn Osborn of Axios: A Spartan Tale fame.

While Axios made it onto my Best M/M Romance Books of All Time list, Osborn’s subsequent writing just hasn’t been as high quality.

I stumbled across this latest series of hers and now have my fingers crossed that this book brings the same intensity and realness that has been missing as of late.

The Haunting of Lockton is book three of the Ivy Grove series. I will try to go back and read the first two books before jumping into this one. Join me!

On Guard by J.R. Gray & Andi Jaxon

Release Date: March 7th

Selling my virginity wasn’t how I saw my first week of college going.

But after my parents cut me off, an offer from a gorgeous rich stranger doesn’t sound so bad.
It’s only twenty-four hours and I’ll never have to see him again.
Wrong.

Much to my horror, the stranger is Oliver Godfrey, the captain of my fencing team.
And as if that isn’t bad enough, his parents own half the city.
There is no escape from him or the way he makes me feel.
He’s everything I don’t want.
And everything I need.

A playboy like him shouldn’t look at me twice, so why is he ruining my life?
But what Oliver wants, Oliver gets, and he wants me.
He’s arrogant, possessive, and infuriatingly obsessed with me.
This can’t work.

His parents want him to marry an heiress so I can’t keep him.
All I can have is stolen moments hidden in the dark.
He’s going to break my heart and I’m going to let him.

Fencing? Okay, interesting!

It’s no hockey, but I’ll take it! Also, the whole selling my virginity trope is a favorite of mine. Throw in a little forced proximity, and this is sure to be a winner!

I am already a huge Andi Jaxon fan after reading Hidden Scars, so I hope this is of a similar caliber.

The Unforgettable Hookup by Jax Calder

Release Date: March 21st

This is Sam’s story…

One night. That’s all it was supposed to be.

I can’t believe my luck when the most gorgeous guy I’ve ever seen propositions me in a bar, looking for his first-ever one-night stand.

No names. No strings. Just pure fun.

I’m more than happy to oblige.

But after our incredible night together, I can’t stop thinking about him. Unfortunately, I have no way to track him down.

Lucky for me, fate is about to intervene…

I read the first book in the duology, The Anonymous Hookup, recently and loved it!

The first book was all from Lane’s perspective, so I am really looking forward to getting Sam’s side of things. This should be a quick, fun read.

If anything else drops this month that I am super excited about, I will update the list!

For now, enjoy these and let me know if I missed anything!

Hey, I’m Heather!

I read M/M romance books exclusively, and I help other readers find their next great M/M romance read.
