Best M/M Enemies-to-Lovers Romance Books

Enemies to lovers is one of the most classic romance book tropes that exists. There is something so compelling about the idea of two men hating each other’s guts, but falling in love anyway.

Couples that start out as enemies tend to really bring a lot of passion and heat.

Every book I am going to share with you below brings the heat in spades.

10 best Mm Romance Recs For-5

While putting this list together, I couldn’t help but notice how many of these books also appear on my Best M/M Romance Books of All Time list.

This is clearly a trope near and dear to my heart.

I was reminded how much I like M/M enemies-to-lovers romance books while reading the book Garron Park by Nordika Night. So that is right where we will start our journey.

Let’s jump in!

Ultimate List of M/M Enemies-to-Lovers Romance Books

When Devon Sawyer desperately searches for his brother in the middle of the night, beaten and broken, he finds Maddox Kane instead. With his dad on his trail, he has no choice but to stand on his enemy’s doorstep and let Maddox help.

Maddox has never seen Devon this vulnerable. Living in Garron’s trailer park means families dole out discipline on the regular and violence is a part of life, but something about how far Jim Sawyer takes it this time has Maddox unnerved.

Rivals in motocross, work, and life itself, they’re forced to work together for one night. Perspectives change and their friction morphs into something unexpected.

Hatred turns to lust.

Tensions switch from hostile to aroused.

While their competitiveness remains, their dynamic shifts. Their acceptance is anything but graceful.

Two guys who come from nothing, with very little to look forward to, find themselves craving each other in new and fiery ways.

Reluctantly.

Garron Park  is enemies to lovers done really, really well.

Devon and Maddox like to fight. Like, they literally enjoy nothing more than punching each other in the face.

But that doesn’t stop them from falling in love. They understand each other like one one else can, and they know that at the end of the day, they have each other’s backs.

Nordika Night somehow gets these guys from being constantly at each other’s throats to being in a committed relationship in a reasonably believable way.

Don’t get me wrong, you will need to let go of any grasp you may have on reality. And, yes, there will be a decent amount of cheese. But don’t let any of that dissuade you from trying out this trailer park enemies-to-lovers romance.

Jameson Bates
I have a secret. We all have secrets. I’m nothing special.
It just so happens, however, that my sworn enemy also knows my secret.
He’s the absolute worst person to know this, and there’s nothing I can do about it.
What he does with this information is totally out of my hands and completely in his.
This is why I’ve never let anyone in. I don’t trust easily. I keep to myself.
I’m closed off. Angry.
Guarded.

Garrison Dixon
I shouldn’t have seen what I did.
I shouldn’t know what I do.
But how Bates can think I would ever say anything is beyond me.
Everyone thinks I’m just a big, dumb football player with nothing more to him.
The truth is I’ll never say a word about what I witnessed. I don’t care about it the way he thinks I do. I wouldn’t hurt him.
And I’d let him know that—all of it—if he wasn’t so damn . . .
Guarded.

I have absolutely loved Nicole Dykes’ Kensley Panthers series. Guarded is the second book in the series.

This book follows Bates and Dixon, the two guys we saw punching each other in the locker room in the first book of the series, Keeper.

I love their perfect grumpy/sunshine dynamic. I recommend this one for sporty, new adult M/M romance fans.

Damen is a warrior hero to his people, and the rightful heir to the throne of Akielos. But when his half brother seizes power, Damen is captured, stripped of his identity, and sent to serve the prince of an enemy nation as a pleasure slave.

Beautiful, manipulative, and deadly, his new master, Prince Laurent, epitomizes the worst of the court at Vere. But in the lethal political web of the Veretian court, nothing is as it seems, and when Damen finds himself caught up in a play for the throne, he must work together with Laurent to survive and save his country.

For Damen, there is just one rule: never, ever reveal his true identity. Because the one man Damen needs is the one man who has more reason to hate him than anyone else…

The entire Captive Prince Trilogy is OG enemies to lovers.

While reading the first book, I was pretty sure that I hated Prince Laurent just as much as Damon did. But we both learned to love him over the course of the trilogy.

This is a steamy and incredibly captivating fantasy read. The world building is some of the best that the M/M genre has to offer. I highly recommend this one for fans of fantasy M/M romance books.

Nothing interferes with Shane Hollander’s game—definitely not the sexy rival he loves to hate.

Pro hockey star Shane Hollander isn’t just crazy talented, he’s got a spotless reputation. Hockey is his life. Now that he’s captain of the Montreal Voyageurs, he won’t let anything jeopardize that, especially the sexy Russian whose hard body keeps him awake at night.

Boston Bears captain Ilya Rozanov is everything Shane’s not. The self-proclaimed king of the ice, he’s as cocky as he is talented. No one can beat him—except Shane. They’ve made a career on their legendary rivalry, but when the skates come off, the heat between them is undeniable. When Ilya realizes he wants more than a few secret hookups, he knows he must walk away. The risk is too great.

As their attraction intensifies, they struggle to keep their relationship out of the public eye. If the truth comes out, it could ruin them both. But when their need for each other rivals their ambition on the ice, secrecy is no longer an option…

You had to have seen this coming. Heated Rivalry is one of the best books I have ever read. Easily. It is also, potentially, the best enemies-to-lovers books of all time. Shane and Ilya are everything.

From the time that they are kids, the world has pitted these two hockey superstars against each other. And by doing so, they inadvertently pushed them together. Shane and Ilya start out hating each other as much as the world wants them to, but then they fall into bed together. Their chemistry is undeniable and they can’t stay way from each other for long. Over time they fall in love. It is the most beautiful and deep story.

This book is so perfect that I often forget it is technically book two in the Game Changers series with its sequel, The Long Game, being book six. Every book in the series is worth checking out, but if you are itching for some enemies to lovers, jump into Heated Rivalry.

Asher Henderson.
Captain of the Highnam Academy football team, and the bane of my existence.
As Alstone High’s team captain, I’ve been pitted against him from the beginning, but our conflict isn’t only reserved for the pitch.
Everyone knows we’re enemies. From our first encounter, our rivalry has been escalating, spiralling out of control.

Until one night when everything between us changed.
He pushed me too far, and we crossed a line that should never have been crossed.
Now, I can’t get him out of my head.
Can we ever be more than rivals, or are there too many obstacles in our way?

One thing I know for sure.
Things between us will never be the same again.

This is a great pick for enemies to lovers with a fun athletic competitiveness. This is not up to the same caliber as Heated Rivalry, but is still exciting to read.

I really enjoyed how Asher and Levi call each other by their football numbers until they finally admit that they are in love. Even then, they can’t help but remain aggressive toward each other. They really care about protecting each other and keeping each other safe. This is such a surprising sweet read.

Kyran Harbor is everything I’m not.

Rich. Popular. A superstar football player who’s awfully broody for someone who has it all. Basically, he’s a preppy jock who hates me. Oh, and he’s also my stepbrother.

That’s right. We’re stuck together, sharing a school, a house… A bathroom. Honestly, I wouldn’t care… If he wasn’t such an uptight control-freak who messes with me just because we’re different.

I had every intention of avoiding him when we got to college… Until abrupt misfortune forces us both into a compromising position.

Now the grouchy jerk I was hoping to evade might be the only person who can help me out of it.

Avi Vega is everything I despise.

A dreamer. A flake. An artist who smokes too much weed and thinks aliens exist. And by some sick cosmic joke, he’s now my stepbrother, following me on what should’ve been my escape plan.

It was already a disaster. Add a sudden financial disruption to the mix, and let’s just say my options are heavily limited.

If I want to stay an all-star quarterback on the way to the NFL, I’ll need to do something drastic. Unfortunately for me, and my desperate desire for control, the perpetually smiling stoner has a plan.

Maybe we can stop hating each other just enough to pull this off. As long as we remember we’re only doing it… for the fans.

This book is beyond steamy. Here we have step-brothers getting it on in front of a camera for money. And they hate each other. It’s so freaking good.

Like with most of Nyla K.’s work, you will need to not ask too many questions and just go with the flow. But, I think you will be surprised with the amount of feeling that this story contains. I couldn’t help but cry for Kyran many times while devouring this book. Read this one for the fun step-brothers twist and the hidden depth.

JACOBS

For the last three years, I’ve lived and breathed hockey with one goal: team captain.

There’s only one thing standing in my way. TJ Beckett.

Beck is irresponsible and immature, and I’ve hated him since the moment we met freshman year.

Yet, the coaches see something in him I obviously can’t, and they refuse to choose between us. The captain spot is going to a team vote, and the team thinks that what we need are a bunch of challenges to prove our worth. Challenges that have nothing to do with hockey. Challenges that are throwing me and Beck together.
And he’s still as infuriating as ever.

BECK

I have no idea why Christopher Jacobs hates me, and I can’t say I care. I like pushing his buttons, but the guy needs to loosen up. I’m going to win these stupid challenges easily and spend my senior year as hockey king on this campus.

Tormenting Jacobs at the same time will just be a bonus.

Even if I’m getting confusing feelings toward him, I won’t let it hold me back.

When it comes to competing, I’m all in, and nothing will get between me and the W.

Jacobs and Beck are pure gold together. They are one of my favorite couples of all time. The epilogue of their book is everything that you could ever wish for.

Also, I feel like this entire series (CU Hockey) is M/M sports romance done really well. Eden Finley and Saxon James have included just enough hockey to get the sense that the characters in the series are real, dedicated athletes that are elite at what they do. There is action and excitement. But also, there is enough outside of the hockey that I don’t get bored of the content and start to skim for the romance. Face Offs & Cheap Shots is my favorite from the series. It is highly, highly recommended.

Twenty years ago, monsters rose on earth and began a new age of civilization.

One where humans live in military-controlled, cramped and dirty cities along the coasts, and the majority of the United States is known as the Wastes. A lawless, desolate and dangerous place, teeming with monsters that have claimed the land for their own.

Including Wyn the Soul Eater.

He appears every three years, making his way across the country and slaughtering humans randomly, sucking them dry until they’re nothing but husks.

I’ve only been in the military for six months, but now I’m part of a unit tasked with trying to stop and capture him. And when I’m the only soldier out of hundreds that the Soul Eater leaves alive, I realise that… something about me has intrigued him.

But what is it? What could a twenty-three year old guy from the south, with no one and nothing in the world, have possibly done to capture the attention of a death monster with horns, blackened fingertips and a face hidden in the dark depths of his hood?

Soul Eater is enemies to lovers in the most literal sense. Danny, a solider in the army, is tasked with killing the monsters that roam the planet. Wyn is a monster. One of the most feared and deadly monsters of them all. When Danny is the sole surviver of an attack by Wyn, the two are thrust together.

Wyn is such an interesting character. I loved learning about his story. Danny really will steal your heart. He is the kindest and bravest person. He loves Wyn and accepts him and the other monsters Wyn introduces him to quickly even though while in the military he was taught to fear them.

This is the start of a fantastic series that is still producing amazing new books. You should jump into this one ASAP.

LobsterShorts, 21. Jock. Secretly a science geek. Hot AF.

LobsterShorts: So. Here goes. For her birthday, my girlfriend wants…a threesome.

SinnerThree: Then you’ve come to the right hookup app.

LobsterShorts: Have you done this sort of thing before? With another guy?

SinnerThree: All the time. I’m an equal opportunity player. You?

LobsterShorts: [crickets!]

SinnerThree, 21. Finance major. Secretly a male dancer. Hot AF.

SinnerThree: Well, I’m down if you are. My life is kind of a mess right now. School, work, family stress. Oh, and I live next door to the most annoying dude in the world. I need the distraction. Are you sure you want this?

LobsterShorts: I might want it a little more than I’m willing to admit.

SinnerThree: Hey, nothing wrong with pushing your boundaries…

LobsterShorts: Tell that to my control-freak father. Anyway. What if this threesome is awkward?

SinnerThree: Then it’s awkward. It’s not like we’ll ever have to see each other again. Right? Just promise you won’t fall in love with me.

LobsterShorts: Now wouldn’t that be life-changing…

This is another collaboration from the amazing Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy. These are the ladies that brought the world Him, so they can be trusted to write anything. Enemies to lovers with secret identities was no exception. They knocked this book out of the park.

I love a good frat bro romance, and this book embraced the frat life. Keaton and Luke are actually competing to be the president of their fraternity and absolutely hate each other. Too bad they are also falling in love anonymously via a hook up app. Top Secret seriously checks every box.

Stockholm syndrome or Love?
When you want someone completely wrong for you…

Luke Whitford has always dreamed of meeting Mr. Right. A hopeless romantic at heart, he dreams of falling in love with a nice man, getting married, and having a bunch of adorable babies. The problem is, Luke has the propensity for being attracted to men who are anything but nice.

Roman Demidov, a homophobic, cynical billionaire who has a grudge against Luke’s father, is certainly not Mr. Right. Cold, manipulative, and ruthless, he’s not a nice man and he doesn’t pretend to be.

Luke is fully aware that Roman is all wrong for him. His attraction to the guy is just some sort of Stockholm syndrome; it must be. If life were a fairy tale, Roman would be the main villain, not the hero.

But even villains can fall in love. Or can they?

The story of a boy who dreamed of Prince Charming and ended up falling for the Beast.

Stockholm Syndrome and enemies to lovers is basically the same thing, right? In this story Luke falls for Roman, his kidnapper. Or rather, Lukes forces Roman to fall for him. Somehow Alessandra Hazard has made it seem somewhat believable that a homophobic, Russian crime boss would fall in love with the young man that he kidnaps. This book is full of action and excitement and seduction.

All’s fair in hate and hockey.

My path to success never included an enemy as a teammate, especially one as infuriating as Quinton de Haas.

Clawing under my skin is his favorite pastime, only feeding the animosity between us as the years pass.

We’re as completely opposite as two people can be; the golden boy and the black sheep.

Constantly at odds or at each other’s throats.

The only thing we can agree on is hockey is our true love, and we’ll do whatever it takes to come out on top.

I never imagined that drive would lead me to do the unthinkable: falling into bed with my not-so-straight rival.

But athletes are a superstitious bunch, and when our hook-ups lead to victories, we tell ourselves we can’t stop.

Besides, it’s all for the sake of the team, right?

Iced Out is the first book I had ever read by CE Ricci. It’s chock full of the angsty steam that CE Ricci has become known for.

I loved Oakley and Quinton together. They are genuinely rivals at the beginning of the book and are not afraid to get physical.

It was masterful how CE Ricci transitioned them from hating each other to hooking-up. It felt believable given the circumstances.

Quintin really stole the show. The things that he is battling while still trying to keep it all together and performing as an elite athlete left me deeply feeling for him.

The next book in the Leighton U series, Caught Stealing, is already out. It also has some interesting enemies-to-lovers vibes in it. You can check out my review for Caught Stealing here.

A planet at war. Two alphas forced into a political marriage. Attraction that defies all reason and logic… Or does it?

The Kingdom of Pelugia and the Republic of Kadar have been at war for decades. Peace isn’t popular, but the planet can’t survive without it.

Forced to marry an enemy prince for the sake of peace, Senator Royce Cleghorn doesn’t like his husband, his alpha scent, or his damned pretty blue eyes. More than anything, Royce hates what Haydn makes him become: a primitive alpha cliché who’ll do anything to mark his territory, even if that territory is his alpha husband. Royce likes omegas; he isn’t into alphas, no matter how pretty their eyes are. It’s just a weird territorial instinct. It has to be.

Prince Haydn has always tried to be the perfect alpha his father wants him to be. He’s the heir to the throne. He’s a war general. He isn’t supposed to bare his throat to an enemy alpha—and it isn’t supposed to feel so good. Everyone knows a marriage between two alphas is a recipe for disaster. He isn’t supposed to crave his husband—their marriage is just a political arrangement, nothing more.

But when disaster strikes and loyalties are tested, which bond will be the strongest: their marriage, or their allegiances?

Unnatural is a fantasy enemies-to-lovers romance from Alessandra Hazard‘s The Wrong Alpha series.

I really liked the idea that a lot of the animosity between the two main characters, Royce and Haydn, simply comes down to their biology.

Alphas are not supposed to get along with each other. Let alone be in a relationship. Their incredibly different cultures and families also lead to a lot of animosity.

There are a lot of exciting twists and turns in this book that make it a real page turner. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to read ABO style enemies to lovers.

EZRA

Partying, dudes, and hockey. What more could a gay NHL player want?

If it weren’t for Anton Hayes, my life would be perfect.

Not that he affects my life in any way. At all. That would imply I care what the winger from Philly thinks of me.

Which I don’t.

Not even a one-night stand with him can thaw his misplaced animosity toward me.

He says I’m the one with the ego, but he can talk. He rivals me for most egotistical puck boy in the league.

I hate him as much as he hates me. Even if I crave a repeat.

ANTON

When it comes to hockey, I’m all about the game.

I’ve worked for years to be one of the best in the league, and l’ve done it without splashing my orientation all over the tabloids.

My hockey image is one I’ve carefully cultivated, and after one night with Ezra Palaszczuk, I risk it all.

He’s cocky, obnoxious, and has an ego bigger than Massachusetts. And okay, maybe he’s the sexiest man I’ve ever known.

We’ll never get along. Not when we sleep together. Not even when my possessive streak awakens.

That doesn’t stop us from falling into bed together over and over again.

Egotistical Puckboy is a hilarious hockey enemies-to-lovers romance from the talented author duo of Eden Finley and Saxon James. It is also the first book in the Puckboys series.

Honestly, Ezra really steals the show here. His personality is almost as big as his ego. He is an incredibly talented athlete, but he doesn’t let his fame or the pressures that come with it deter him from partying and doing exactly what he wants with his life.

Anton is the exact opposite of Ezra. He is the strait-laced professional who despises Ezra for his ability to be a complete mess and still be one of the best players in the league.

Sparks fly when these two clash. I highly recommend this one if you are looking for a lighter enemies-to-lovers sports romance.

Adam Mulvaney lives a double life. By day, he’s the spoiled youngest son of an eccentric billionaire. By night, he’s an unrepentant killer, one of seven psychopaths raised to right the wrongs of a justice system that keeps failing.

Noah Holt has spent years dreaming of vengeance for the death of his father, but when faced with his killer, he learns a daunting truth he can’t escape. His father was a monster.

Unable to ignore his own surfacing memories, Noah embarks on a quest to find the truth about his childhood with the help of an unlikely ally: the very person who murdered his father. Since their confrontation, Adam is obsessed with Noah, and he wants to help him uncover the answers he seeks, however dark they may be.

The two share a mutual attraction, but, deep down, Noah knows Adam’s not like other boys. Adam can’t love. He wasn’t born that way. But he refuses to let Noah go, and Noah’s not sure he wants him to.

Can Adam prove to Noah that passion, power, and protection are just as good as love?

Unhinged doesn’t really scream enemies to lovers, but Adam and Noah’s story starts out with Noah confronting Adam for killing his father. Noah knows is that Adam has killed his father and many other people.

Noah and Adam slowly work out their issues as they piece together Noah’s life. This is when Noah starts to trust Adam and their relationship can grow.

And grow it does. What Adam feels for Noah is beyond love. It falls firmly in the obsession category.

This is a really unique and fun M/M enemies-to-lovers romance.

Nearing the end of a suspended jail sentence should unlock a brighter future for CJ Davis, only the chip on his shoulder is as hard to shift as his bad reputation. Born into a family of career criminals who live down Davis Road, an address the cops have dubbed Davis Row, his name alone is like a rap sheet that makes optimism impossible.

Brand-new parole officer Noah Huxley is determined to see the good in men like CJ. After all, he knows firsthand that bad things can happen to good people. His colleagues mock his doe-eyed optimism, but Noah soon sees CJ’s bad attitude and bravado are weapons he uses to keep people at a distance.

Both men know one simple mistake can change a life forever. At first glance, they might seem to be polar opposites. Yet underneath, they’re not that different at all.

It is hard to imagine a more perfect pairing for an enemies-to-lovers book than a kid with a rap sheet and his parole officer.

On Davis Row is peak N.R. Walker. This stand alone enemies-to-lovers romance was pure gold. I devoured it in a single day the first time I read it.

I love Noah Huxley so much. He is optimistic, kind, and he wants to make the world a better place. He really wants to start with CJ Davis. Unfortunately, CJ wants absolutely nothing from his new obnoxiously naive parole officer.

It was such a beautiful experience to witness Noah breakdown CJ’s walls and prove to him that you can count on people. You can trust people. You can love people.

I think I’ll go back and reread this one. Join me!

What happens when your enemy is your fated mate?

Anger. Denial. Bellamy’s felt both since the day he learned a demon was his soulmate. Mostly denial. Cursed with the deadly sin Lust, he’s used to no-strings-attached hookups. Love is a different story. He’s never wanted it. Romance is a waste of time when he’s dedicated his life to protecting the world.

A world his fated mate is trying to destroy.

Phoenix isn’t a hero. He’s self-serving, a bit wicked, and devious. He’s also the king of the underworld’s right-hand demon. So when a Nephilim he’s been waging war against turns out to be the one destiny chose for him, things get… complicated.
The understatement of the century.

As the war between angels and demons intensifies, circumstances force Bellamy and Phoenix together in an oh so close proximity. And the sizzling connection between them becomes an inferno of carnal desire. A beautiful disaster waiting to happen.

Or is it?

Bellamy is the fifth book in Jaclyn Osborn’s Sons of the Fallen series. The series follows seven fallen-angel brothers who are cursed with the seven deadly sins.

Bellamy, the focus for this book, is cursed with lust. He finds his fated mate in Phoenix, a demon who fights on the opposite side of the war between good and evil.

These two shouldn’t have worked so well together, but they absolutely did. I loved the growth and evolution that Phoenix experiences during this book. It really took him changing in big ways for a relationship with Bellamy to be possible.

The entire series is a lot of M/M paranormal romance fun that you should check out!

Spartanburg Spitfires’ goalie and captain Isaac Drake ended last season with an unexpected trip to the playoffs. He’s found a home and family with his coach and mentor, Misha Samarin, and he’s looking forward to making a serious run for the Kelly Cup. But things take an interesting turn when Isaac’s archnemesis, Laurent St. Savoy, is traded to the Spitfires. After Laurent’s despicable behavior in the playoffs last year, Isaac wants nothing to do with him – no matter how gorgeous he is. But that changes when Isaac discovers the reason for Laurent’s attitude.

Laurent St. Savoy grew up the only son of a legendary NHL goalie in a household rife with abuse, constantly treated like a disappointment on and off the ice. When a desperate attempt to escape his father’s tyranny sends him to the Spitfires, the last thing Laurent wants is to make friends. But there’s something about Isaac Drake that he can’t resist, and Laurent has an opportunity to explore his sexuality for the first time, but he’s cracking under end-of-the season pressures. When facing the playoffs and a rivalry turned personal vendetta, Isaac’s not sure he’s enough to hold Laurent—or their relationship—together.

Empty Net is the final hockey enemies-to-lovers book on my list. M/M sports romance books lend themselves so well to the enemies-to-lovers trope because there is so much tension and animosity between opposing teams and players.

In this book we have two players that have treated each other abhorrently when playing each other in the past. Now they are stuck on the same team and forced to get along.

This constant exposure is where the truth about a lot of things comes to light for the me. You can’t go wrong with this entire series from Avon Gale. Highly recommended!

Brax
Tyson Langley thinks the king in Franklin University Kings is in reference to him. Star lacrosse player and God’s gift to the female and male population, there’s nothing the spoiled jock can’t have.

It’s impossible for us to be in the same room without talking crap to each other. But I also have a secret… As much as I despise Ty, I want him too. I revel in our banter and in never knowing what he’ll say next.

I’ve spent too much time on the wrong side of the law for someone like Ty, though, and if I want to make it through college and escape my past, he’s a distraction I don’t need.

Ty
Braxton Walker needs to learn to lighten up. If you search brooding online, his name pops up. He’s the bad boy with a leather jacket and a scowl. We couldn’t be more different.

Finding ways to annoy him is like the longest foreplay session of my life. And when we end up working together, it gets harder to deny how hot he makes me.

What’s a little hooking up between enemies?

We weren’t supposed to become friends or share secrets. We weren’t supposed to understand each other and all the complicated stuff we’re going through.

I’m used to playing games, only the more time I spend with Brax, the less it feels like playing around and the more it becomes something real.

Playing Games is a new adult, sporty enemies-to-lovers book from Riley Hart. It is also the first book in the Franklin U anthology series from a variety of our favorite M/M romance authors.

This was a strong start to the series, and a fun little take on enemies to lovers.

Marshall
I hate Valentine Tye.
I’ve hated him since we were ten years old. I hate everything he is, everything he stands for. Even the mention of his name gets my back up.
And when I see him?
My blood boils. My jaw clenches and my hands curl into fists. That’s how much I hate him.
I want to cause him pain. I want to hold him down and actually hurt him.
And if that’s not bad enough, that’s exactly what he wants me to do to him.

Valentine
I know what people think of me. I know what they assume. They all think I’m some spoiled rich guy who’s had everything handed to him.
They don’t know me at all.
Behind my carefully constructed walls is an emptiness so dark it scares men away. I like pain. I like being used. For some messed up reason, it validates me. I don’t need love or affection or, hell forbid, emotional attachment.
What I need is a man who hates me, a man who despises me.
A man like Marshall Wise.
Because never in a million years would he ever feel anything for me.
Right?

Enemies With Benefits is the most recent enemies-to-lovers book that I have read. You can find my review for the book here.

Of course I had to sneak N.R. Walker onto my list multiple times. She does enemies to lovers so well!

Valentine and Marshall are incredibly sweet together in the way that neither man particularly knows how to be sweet. But they are willing to try for each other.

I loved that it didn’t feel like N.R. Walker was holding back in this book. Check this one out for an incredibly steamy and raw enemies-to-lovers read.

Silas

I’m tired of feeling trapped in my life.
It’s just a never-ending cycle of trying to survive the day.
Luckily, I have Blaine to keep me entertained.
We’re enemies but despite him being everything I hate; I’m addicted to him and the things we do in the dark. Somehow, he’s crept his way under my skin, and I’m obsessed with the way he’s making me feel.
I don’t want to admit I’m falling for him—the golden boy—but he’s my perfect match in every way.
He gives me something I never thought I’d have and, even though we’re impossible, I won’t let anyone stand in the way of us.

Blaine

My life is suffocating me.
Perfect son, star athlete, ideal student. I’m overwhelmed—unraveling at the seams.
Until Silas flips my world on its axis.
My dirty little secret.
He’s my perfect escape from reality. I can let loose and feel good for a change. He makes me feel alive for the first time.
But he’ll always be someone I despise. He’s arrogant, the epitome of a bad boy and yet the longer we do this, the harder it’s becoming to ignore my growing feelings. He’s not what I expected, but he’s exactly what I need.
And now that I’ve had him, I refuse to let him go.

I have to add this new book to the list!

Hateful Love by T. Ashleigh and Addison Beck is everything a person could want from an enemies-to-lovers M/M romance book.

Silas and Blaine are pure gold together. The way that they took all of the passion and energy that was going towards hating each other to loving each other was beautiful.

The growth that happens in their relationship is realistic and compelling.

Hey, I’m Heather!

I read M/M romance books exclusively, and I help other readers find their next great M/M romance read.
